It's Happening In Miami
Federation's Statement of Solidarity With Jewish College Students
Posted by Lauren Gold on 04/26/2024 @ 10:09 AM
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation and its Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) stand in solidarity with Jewish college students across the country.
Jewish college students are being targeted on campus simply because they are Jewish or because they believe that Israel has the right to exist as a homeland for the Jewish people.
We are grateful that our students here in Florida are not subject to the same magnitude of antisemitism as others elsewhere, although let us be clear: No amount of antisemitism is acceptable.
We agree with the recommendations of our partners at Hillel International, who have called upon university presidents to take four critical steps toward protecting Jewish students.
