Temple Beth Sholom in Miami Beach is honored to have Israeli author Etgar Keret as Scholar in Residence from February 23 -25. Internationally-acclaimed for his short stories, Etgar Keret is hailed as the voice of young Israel. In 2016 Keret was awarded the Charles Bronfman Prize, recognizing his work as inspiring Jewish values and having global impact. The weekend is being generously underwritten by the Blaustein Family Fund.

Shalom Family is a fun, experiential program that melds Jewish culture, nature, family and community. We offer outdoor events open to the public held in celebration of Jewish holidays.
Families with children 0-6, older siblings, and extended family of all generations are invited to join us for a celebration of Tu B'Shevat, The New Year of the Trees, this Sunday.

Temple Beth Tov Ahavat Shalom proudly presents Dr. Nathaniel Holmes, as Guest Speaker, on Friday, Jan. 19th, to honor the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial season. His presentation on the "Beloved Community" - an MLKJr. concept - will be given after Friday night services. Services as usual begin at 8:15pm, and conclude @ 9:15pm.
Dr. Holmes is well-credentialed, and is on staff at Florida Memorial College. To attend is a meaningful opportunity to honor the MLKJr. Memorial season, and to be inspired by a notable of our community.

On Tuesday Jan, 30, 2018 (Tubisvat) Jewish singles can discover "how to date their soul mate" during a lavish soiree in South Beach at the renowned Temple House, one of the most iconic properties in the U.S.
This exciting & unique evening will feature a live Jazz band, a gourmet dinner cocktail hour and a brief panel presentation followed by interactive breakout discussion groups; empowering singles to share their common experiences and proactive solutions.
The program will begin at 6:30 with a cocktail dinner hour followed by the discussion period and will end with a decadent dessert hour. Since the evening coincides with the Jewish ecological new year of nature, Tubishvat, the dessert hour will also include exotic Israeli fruits and a brief explanation of the ethical and practical lessons eating these fruits teach us.
